Hello and welcome to Rising Stars Academy of Dance and Theatre!

 

Rising Stars Academy was established in 2015 and is owned and led by Miss Emma Bateman who is a fully qualified dance, zumba, and children's yoga teacher.

 

Miss Emma started dancing at just 18 months old, and over the years has taken part in many shows, competitions and exams in a variety of dance subjects. 

Her aim now is to inspire the younger generations whilst continuing her own professional development by taking teaching examinations in the hope to become an examiner one day!

 

Rising Stars Academy holds classes in the following subjects during the week and Saturdays:

-Ballet

-Tap 

-Theatre craft 

-Modern jazz

- Street

-Gymnastics

These classes are suitable for children aged 2 upwards. Please look at our timetable page for more information.

 

Alongside dance and theatre, we offer yoga classes for children aged between 2 and 7. These classes are held in nursery settings, schools, and at local halls in the community for anyone to come along to. 

 

Our school offers a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where children and young adults can develop and expand their knowledge in their chosen area of dance and theatre at their own pace.
