Exams, Performances and Events
Exams
At Rising Stars Academy, exam sessions are held twice a year, one just before Christmas, and the other before the summer holidays. The children work towards these exams throughout the year, and get graded on technique, musicality and performance.
Once the results and certificates are in, the students put on a mini performance for friends and family to show their exam work, and then get presented with their certifcate and medal. This is a great opportunity for the students to perform in front of a small audience, but also a lovely chance for friends and family to see how the children have progressed!
All our students work extremely hard, giving Rising Stars Academy its 100% pass rate for exams!
Performances
As well as our mini performances of exam work throughout the year, our school puts on a show every 18 months.
The students get to perform on a stage to a wide audience of family and friends. This is a great opportunity for the children as they get to see how a show is put together and also get to wear the gorgeous costumes and show make-up!
It is a very exciting time for all involved and the students love them!
Events
We like to have fun with our dance friends at RSA so throughout the year we have events that are suitable for all the children. These include craft evenings, games and pizza nights, charity fundraisers, and trips out!
